Meg SkaffMuch like David Bowie's life, his death was shrouded in mystery and genius. I'm working with the phenomenal Kaki King, she’s the Yo-Yo Ma of guitarists. He said, “I happen to know Tony, I would definitely recommend you.” So he wrote an email and we didn't hear back for awhile. Little did we know that he was in hiding, working on David Bowie’s comeback album, The Next Day. So I’m working on building something to potentially change all of that, and bring some dignity back to musicians in New York.
