Beckham is the co-owner of the new MLS franchise and is looking to add more famous names to the squad in order to build the club’s brand. Higuain joined up with former Juve team-mate Blaise Matuidi and his brother, attacking midfielder Federico Higuain in Miami. Inter Miami are managed by former England women’s head coach - and former Manchester United team-mate of Beckham’s - Phil Neville, who took over in January. Former Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross and Neville’s son Harvey are also at the club, who now appear intent on signing up more well-known names.
