KUALA LUMPUR: A Datuk Seri has surrendered to police here to help with investigations into the riot at an entertainment outlet at Jalan Klang Lama. City Deputy CID chief Asst Comm Alzafny Ahmad said the man surrendered at the Brickfields police headquarters at around 3pm on Friday. Some of the suspects told the police that a fight had occurred at a pub in Cheras before the attack. City police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim had said that police were looking for four suspects in connection with the case and one of them was the Datuk Seri. ACP Alzafny said a bodyguard who was one of the four sought by police had also surrendered to the police.
