Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt told a police officer that he would fail a drug test if one were administered, according to dashcam video of the Jan. 21 traffic stop in Rocky River, Ohio. Officer Michael Asbury at first told Hunt he would only get a speeding ticket if “there’s nothing in that car.” A search uncovered marijuana in three different locations inside a backpack in the car. Hunt first told Asbury that the pot was his brother’s before admitting that he would fail a drug test. “Yes sir,” Hunt told Asbury. Hunt also told Asbury that it “hurts my soul” not to be playing with the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
