A record audience of over 4.8m people tuned in to watch 2024 PDC World Darts Championship final in the UK on Wednesday night (Jan 3), making it the most watched darts event ever on Sky and Now. A peak audience of 3.71m watched Luke Humphries beat 16-year-old Luke Littler to claim his first ever World Darts Championship title, a 143% increase on the 2023 final. Sky said the record figure represents the highest ever non-football peak on Sky Sports. Darts mania has also been seen across social media with 27.6m WDC final video views across Sky Sports’ social channels on Wednesday night. The impressive figures continued across Instagram – 11.8m video views - and a 10.2m total reach on Facebook.
