He says he's no professional, but photographer Andrew Stewart's stunning photos of his father-in-law's last days have netted him one of New Zealand's top photography awards. Stewart, from Gladstone near Masterton, won big at the New Zealand Geographic's Photographer of the Year 2017 competition, coming out top in the photostory section. He said he been taking photos for around 30 years, although he hadn't done it as a full-time job. "I wouldn't say I'm a professional photographer," he said.
