The eccentric Afro rock band, arguably first of its nature in Africa, began their performance with a set from their first album. “It was a night of contemporary Afro pop rock that got our blood steamed up,” said a patron. The event dubbed ‘Dark Suburb in Concert’ also saw captivating performances from Kr8t Music’s Shuga Lord and reggae/dancehall artiste Epixode. Dark Suburb, winners of 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Unsung, are set to release their first song for the year 2020 on January 31.
