According to a communiqué issued by the GLMCC, beside continuation of strike, the leadership from all political (Pro Gorkhaland) parties will sit for Indefinite Hunger Strike at Chowrasta in Darjeeling from 15th July. All awards received from West Bengal Government to be returned on 13th. All Development Board Chairman and Vice Chairman will be asked to resign by 6pm of 14th July. “If Gorkhaland Bill is tabled in the Parliament the NCP MPs will support it," claimed Binay Tamang , Assistant Secretary, Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM).However, “The political parties were expected to relax the bandh considering the ground scenario. But now it seems the crisis for the common men is to continue,” said a pan shop owner at Tindharia.
