Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has condoled with the family of Director-General of the National Institute for Sports John Dadi-Mamud, who died on Sunday. According to reports, Dadi-Mamud, who became the NIS director in 2019, passed away aged 53 after returning from a trip. “My deep condolences to the family of the late Dr. John Dadi-Mahmu over the sad news of his death. He was such a dedicated and hardworking director of one of the most strategic institutions under our ministry,” Dare said. May God console his family, colleagues and friends and give them the strength to bear this huge loss.”Dadi-Mamud was a former Acting Director and Coordinator of Academic Programmes at NIS.
