The 35-year-old comes up against his former club this Saturday as Brighton host Sunderland at the Amex Stadium. Hurzeler has revealed that Welbeck has been able to train this week, although he has not made a full recovery. When asked about Welbeck’s injury during his press conference on Friday, Hurzeler said: ‘It’s still restricted. ‘He’s a big, big miss definitely,’ Hurzeler said.
