"Myanmar should take back the Rohingyas," Petersen said when she met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), on Tuesday. He said the prime minister emphasized the subject of repatriating the over-one-million Myanmar Rohingyas living in Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina said her government is preparing an island, in Noakhali district, to temporarily shelter the Rohingyas. The Danish ambassador said Denmark will continue to work with Bangladesh toward Bangladesh’s development.
