Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy believes England manager Gareth Southgate is the right profile to replace Jose Mourinho, according to reports. Tottenham are on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Mourinho six days before Sunday's Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City. Spurs are claimed to have made contact with Southgate's representatives regarding the possibility of him returning to club management. The 50-year-old has been Three Lions boss since 2016, following on from three years in charge of the under-21 side. His near two-and-a-half seasons in charge of Boro remains the only time he has spent as a club manager.
