Late May has arrived - historically the peak of tornado season across the United States - and swarms of storms are in the forecast for much of the nation's Heartland. Multiple days of severe weather, including the potential for tornadoes, are expected from the southern Plains to the Corn Belt through late in the workweek. A few intense storms are expected in Colorado on Monday, then more along the Kansas-Nebraska border Monday night.
