Cleaver comes in after receiving his maiden call-up as an injury replacement for keeper Cam Fletcher. Cleaver, who is the cousin of captain Kane Williamson, was picked in the T20I squad earlier in March for the one-off game against Netherlands that was eventually washed out. New Zealand, who have already conceded the three-match Test series 2-0, have been severely hit by both injuries and COVID-19 spike in the camp. Earlier this week, four members of the New Zealand touring party returned COVID-19 positive results and were forced into five-day isolation.
