Damson Idris is set to star in and executive produce a television adaptation of The Lords’ Day for Netflix, adding to the platform’s slate of high-concept political thrillers. The project is being developed by Bad Wolf, with Jane Tranter and Dan McCulloch serving as executive producers. Ben Chanan, known for The Capture, will direct and also executive produce. The role marks another high-profile project for Idris, who gained recognition for his performance in Snowfall. He is also attached to upcoming film projects including Children of Blood and Bone and a biopic centered on Miles Davis.
