Days after a nine-year-old Dalit girl was found dead at a crematorium in Southwest Delhi, her family cremated her remains on Wednesday amid tight security. Police said they increased security around the crematorium and the locality amid protests by villagers and members of the Bhim Army. The family has alleged she was raped, killed, and cremated against their wishes inside the crematorium on August 1. Minor raped, accused apprehendedA six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in East Delhi Wednesday. The girl was medically examined and has been referred to AIIMS for a paediatrician’s opinion,” said DCP (East) Priyanka Kashyap.
