EDMONTON—An animal rescue group is mourning the death of several farm animals after a fire tore through its facility Thursday night. Daisy the blind goat is among the dead. According to the Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement, an animal sanctuary near Wetaskiwin, Alta., Daisy the blind goat, and several other farm animals, died following a Thursday night fire at the rescue facility. Another animal, the latest update added, has severe burns and will likely need to be euthanized. In September 2017, Daisy, who was blinded after she was attacked by crows as a kid, made headlines when she went missing from the sanctuary for over a week.
