DADU: The police foiled an underage marriage bid and arrested parents of children here on Saturday. The police on a tip-off raided a wedding ceremony in outskirts of Dadu where a 10-year bride was being coerced to get married to a 12-year groom. The parents were arrested while nikkah khawan managed to escape the scene. The police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
