Omar Taylor, 31, spent four weeks in intensive care, where he was put on a ventilator for coronavirus and developed two blood clots on his brain causing a double stroke. Care manager Omar was taken to ICU at Colchester Hospital on March 22, three days after being admitted with breathing difficulties. But after being given the all-clear on April 18 Omar was moved to the hospital's stroke ward, and is now continuing his rehab at home. Kaitlyn said: "Lots of people have messaged me saying seeing Omar’s story has given them hope. She added: "People have said to me seeing Omar’s story has spurred them on and said it has been nice to see a positive recovery story in the news."
