The Department of Urdu at Dhaka University, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT), is set to organise the Fourth International Conference on "The Role of Poets Iqbal and Nazrul Islam in National Awakening" on November 9-10 on the university campus. Golam Rabbani, convener of the Conference Implementation Committee, Shared the details at a press briefing held at the office of the Dhaka University Journalists' Association (DUJA) on Friday (November 7). A total of 127 research papers will be presented across 18 sessions during the two-day conference. Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, will attend as the chief guest, while Prof. Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, dean of the Faculty of Arts, will be present as special guest. The two-day event will take place across four venues, including the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at Dhaka University.
