DB Deputy Commissioner (North Division) Moshiur Rahman said the charge sheet was submitted to a court in Dhaka on Monday. The rape survivor's father filed a case with Cantonment police station over the incident, which was transferred to the DB police on January 6. On January 8, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Mojnu in the capital's Shewra rail crossing area. The next day, a Dhaka court placed him on a seven-day remand under the custody of DB police.
