The stir over hiked hostel fees in Delhi University's Hindu College refuses to cease as the protest by students entered its third day. Students have taken to protesting over surge in hostel fees for the current academic session that currently stands at Rs 90,000 for female students but Rs 60,000 for male students. After repeated requests with administration for discussion to bring down the hostel fee, students sat in protest to defy the new entry ban recently introduced which restricts entry of all non-hosteller students beyond 8 pm. However, she added that there was no dialogue from either the college principal or the college administration. Affordable, secure and dignified accommodation is our right and the college is denying us," the student told Mail Today.
