Around 45 applicants will appear in the tests for one seat under five units to get admission into first year honours courses at Dhaka University, the premier university of the country, under the academic session of 2016-17. A total of 302,489 admission seekers have applied against 6,800 seats while the number of admission seekers of the last year was 2,54,404 against 6,655 seats. The admission tests will begin on September 23 with the entry test for humanities group’s students under Kha-unit for admission into different disciplines of Arts and Social Sciences faculties. The admission test of Ka-unit is scheduled to be held on October 21, Ga-unit on September 30, Gha-unit on October 24, and Cha-unit on October 1 (drawing) and September 24 (general knowledge).
