Bangladesh Chhatra Union, the student front of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, has formed its new Dhaka University unit executive committee consisting of 27 members. The committee was announced on Friday night. Foyez Ullah was made president and Rajib Das was made the general secretary of the new committee. Others members consist of Vice President Tushar Pal, Joint Secretary Khairul Islam Shovo, RagibNayem, Organizing Secretary Hasib Mohammad Asif, Treasurer Joy Roy, Office Secretary Apurbo Ray, Publicity Secretary Jahid Jamil, Education and Research Affairs Secretary Mahir Shahriar Reza, Cultural Affairs Secretary LitonSarker, Sports Affairs Secretary Sagor Ray, and Social Welfare Secretary Aisoriya Ahmed, among others. The last Chhatra Union council sessions were held from September 7-8, 2016 where Tuhin Kanti Das and Foyez Ullah were elected president and general secretary respectively.
