Lopez said that truck rebuilding is a big industry, comprising of all kinds of all-purpose trucks from pick-ups to big trucks and buses. He further stressed that these locally assembled used vehicles and parts and components are only for trucks used by entrepreneurs and the logistics industry for their activities and to deliver goods. It also provides for a transition period of six months or until June 30, 2019, whichever comes earlier, for importation of CKD parts and components for trucks rebuilding activities.
