According to the DSWD, the establishment of child- and women-friendly spaces is in accordance with Republic Act. The DSWD likewise gave assurances that “children with special needs are attended to.”Earlier, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) said that almost 600,000 individuals were affected by the typhoon.
