Five Diliman Preparatory School (DPS) standouts claimed the Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awards in Class A Division of the 102nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series held at the DPS swimming pool in Quezon City. Record breaker Albert Sermonia 2nd led the list by earning 47 points to win the top honors in the boys’ 11-year division. The other awardees were Angelica Mae Medrano (girls’ 15-over), Lowestein Julian Lazaro (boys’ 13-year), Aubrey Tom (girls’ 8-year), Trump Christian Luistro (boys’ 8-year), Kyla Soguilon (girls’ 11-year), Rigel Hechanova (girls’ 12-year), Francesca Barreto (girls’ 8-year), Charles Janda (boys’ 7-year), Alexandra Rejuso (girls’ 7-year) and Richelle Callera (girls’ 6-under). “In a few weeks, we will be naming the swimmers who made it to the PSL team that will be competing in major international competitions in the coming months. DPS Varsity Swimming Team wound up fourth with 289 points followed by Grand Villa (233), Club Manila East (220), Philippine Navy Dependent (185), Victoria Blue Marlins (181), Aklan Swimming Team (143) and Silang Baywolves (131).
