Deputy President William Ruto has given a road construction company one month to complete work on the Manyasi-Ruambwa road — work started in 2010 — or the contract will be cancelled. The work is in Bunyala subcounty, Busia county. Ruto said he will instruct the Kenya Rural Roads Authority to inspect the workwork and ensure construction is up to standard and completed within one month. “I will instruct Kerra to make a follow-up,” the DP said on Friday. Ruto promised to allocate funds to renovate Sidokho bridge in Maumau, Bunyala South.
