Deputy President William Ruto has responded to remarks made by ODM leader Raila Odinga and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu during the burial of the late former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile. He was responding to governor Ngilu who asked Odinga and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to unite ahead of the 2022 presidential elections or risk losing to Ruto. Further, the DP stated that the hustler nation had an agenda for the nation. During the late Kalembe Ndile's burial, Ngilu stated that Ruto's chance of success would be higher if Odinga and Kalonzo vied separately. On his part, Odinga stated that the real hustler was Kalembe who fought for the right of the squatters, having been a squatter himself.
