Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reaffirmed that people who supported President William Ruto's presidential run last year will be given key government positions. Mr Gachagua stated that while growth is intended for the entire country, the President will only pick those who believe in his plan and will not destroy it. How can anyone expect us to give sensitive jobs to people who did not believe in our agenda in the first place?” Dp Gachagua said. Contrary to popular belief, the deputy president stated that he is the one who is most stringent about the President shaking hands with opposition leader Raila Odinga. He stated that the opposition leader is welcome to all Presidential engagements throughout the country and that Kenya Kwanza has no issue with him.
