DOLE to put up own hotline numberThe Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will also put up its own hotline number this month so that employees will have a chance to air their complaints against their employers, Undersecretary Joel Manglungsod said. The DOLE official said the general increase will be taken from the company’s corporate profit. He said that through the hotline, contractual workers will be able to inform tge government of their violations being committed by their employers. “Hopefully this month we will have our hotline. If the president has his own 8888 and 911, we will also have our own hotline that will operate 24/7)” Maglungsod said in a news briefing.
