MANILA, Philippines — Every region in the country now has at least one COVID-19 referral hospital, President Rodrigo Duterte told Congress in his fifth weekly report on Monday. According to the report, the Department of Health (DOH) has designated 1,101 COVID-referral hospitals in the Philippines as of April 23, 2020. ADVERTISEMENTThe total number of beds for COVID-19 patients in these referral hospitals is 7,732. The total number of ventilators for both the private and public hospitals is 1,381.
