MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) urged devotees of the Black Nazarene to be “mindful” of their health during the Traslacion procession. “We appeal to devotees joining the Traslacion to prioritize their health. ADVERTISEMENTDuque added that all DOH hospitals in Metro Manila are on “Code White” alert from January 7 to 10, which means that state health facilities are ready to respond to situations. The DOH also advised devotees to bring drinking water to avoid dehydration and wear comfortable clothes and protective footwear. The DOH also asked participants to bring identification cards which identifies a contact person in case of emergency.
