The Oslo, Norway-listed vessel owner gained contracts for survey, inspection, maintenance and repair and construction support securing continuous utilisation for at least four subsea construction support vessels for several months in 2021. “We continue to secure projects with key oil and gas operators across the North Sea, Mediterranean and Africa,” said DOF chief executive Mons Aase. In the North Sea, DOF Subsea will assist a key client with a subsea inspection programme during Q1 2021 on the UK continental shelf and a leading operator with start-up and commissioning activities for a subsea satellite development in Norway. In Angola, DOF Subsea will conduct a greenfield seabed mapping campaign for an international client using remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicles. Another Norwegian owner, Solstad Offshore, has gained a contract extension for its construction support vessel Normand Commander.
