According to eye-witness, a raid was conducted by the DNRCP on Monday, accusing a few of the bus services including SI Line, Dhaka Line of the Sirajganj-Mohakhali route for overcharging their passengers. When the team led by Mahmud Hasan entered the SI Line counter, transport workers confined Mahmud there and assaulted him. Atikur Rahman, the owner of SI Line couldn't be reached for comment despite repeated attempts to reach him over the phone.
