Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq has been put on life support in a London hospital, as his physical condition has deteriorated, his Personal Secretary Mizanur Rahman has said. “He (Annisul) is still with us,” Mizanur said, quoting a text message sent from London on Thursday by Navidul Huq, the mayor’s only son. “Annisul has been on life support in the hospital since Monday as his condition has deteriorated,” he added. The mayor was shifted from the intensive care unit to the hospital’s rehabilitation centre on October 31. Annisul flew to London in late July.
