DNC Guide: Schedule, Speakers and How to Watch


This year’s Democratic National Convention, which was originally set to take place in Milwaukee, instead will be virtual because of the coronavirus pandemic. The convention is set to kick off Monday, Aug. 17 and run until Thursday, Aug. 20; the main programming runs 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. EDT. The DNC has been releasing its schedule of speakers—organized by theme—with a lineup of well-known politicians and Americans who “come from different backgrounds, different communities, and different political affiliations,” according to a statement. They include small-business owners, teachers, factory workers, health-care workers and first responders, parents and farmers.
