Speaking on the show, Gyangamo recounted the financial burden he claims to have borne after Maakua became pregnant. “If the child is not mine, then I will take all the money that I have spent. When she got pregnant, her father took GH¢8,000 from me,” he said. “The father took GH¢7,500, I also bought several items for the family, bringing the total to about GH¢8,000,” he explained. As a result, he insists on retrieving all the money he spent and says he is unwilling to compromise.
