It is that time of the year when the Delhi Police is on its toes keep a tight vigil on the security arrangements in the Capital. With Independence Day just a month away, and Kanwars already descending in the city, considering it is the Shravan season, security seems to be a big challenge for the city police. However, if these security arrangements are well in place throughout the year, it would have been a cakewalk for the police to deal with multiple issues at the same time. Even if the police internal systems have some glitches like non-functional CCTVs, they still have time to rectify these anomalies. The onus of ensuring an uneventful Independence Day, and the safety of the leaders and common man lies on the shoulders of security agencies.
