Newly-appointed Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Habibur Rahman has announced to launch of the ‘message to commissioner’ and ‘voice to commissioner’ initiatives so that people can communicate with him directly. “If people are unable to get proper service at police stations, they should go to the concerned senior officials, including the assistant commissioner, and if they are still unsatisfied, the police will introduce an initiative to allow them to send a message to the commissioner,” Habibur Rahman said at a 'Meet the Press' event at the DMP Media Centre on Monday. “Anyone can inform him directly through a message if they do not get service even after going to the Detective Branch,” he said, reports bdnews24.com. He said that new types of crime complaints are coming to the DMP and a significant reason for this is technology. He added that The DMP uses advanced technology to control cybercrime and that the force is highly skilled and qualified.
