It also realized Tk19.84 lakh in fines for traffic rule violations, said an official release on Saturday, reports BSS. Of the total, 764 cases were lodged for driving on the wrong side of the road, 80 for using hydraulic horns, eight for using hooter beacon lamps, and 18 others for using tinted glass. 1,753 cases were filed against motorcycles, and 56 were also seized for violation of traffic rules. Traffic police also impounded 24 vehicles and towed 497 others.
