A daylong meeting has been organized to present the research findings of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) funded ‘Innovation Program’ and ‘SPRINT Initiative’ projects. Data Management Aid (DMA) organized the event in Dhaka on Thursday, a press release said. The meeting was attended by representatives from UN Women, UNFPA, IPPF, Dhaka University and Chittagong University, Bangladesh government, and Karmaneer, amongst others. The “Innovation Programme” facilitates and tests novel ideas to support sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a focus on under-served populations. The University of Leicester, in collaboration with IPPF’s South Asia Region Office and several local project partners, will complete the 30-month Innovation Programme focused at Sirajganj’s Belkuchi upazila on March 31, 2018.
