DJ Evolve speaks from his bed. [Collins Kweyu, Standard]Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve on Thursday told the court that Embakasi East MP Babu Owino did not possess a gun on the day he was shot. Evolve, who appeared as a defence witness, informed Senior Principal Magistrate Benard Ochoi that he never witnessed the MP carrying a firearm inside the club. The second defence witness, Edwin Otieno, who serves as the MP's private protector and personal assistant, informed the court that the gun carried by his boss was non-functional. Due to the jamming issue, he advised Owino to have the gun examined.
