If you don't own some already but want to give this easy DIY trick a try, crystal and glass items are both plentiful and cheap at op-shops. To make the most of this activity, choose an object with an interesting, textured surface, and use a matte acrylic paint. Leave to air dry or dry your object carefully with a hairdryer. Tip: Your object is best used for decor, do not use it for a purpose which will make it dirty, as acrylic paint can not be washed.
