A university student has been stabbed to death by muggers at Tikatuli area in Dhaka. The deceased is Abu Talha, 21, a second-year student of computer science and engineering (CSE) at Daffodil International University (DIU). Talha’s father Nur Uddin said: “Muggers attacked Talha while he was going to his university around 6:30am on Sunday. “The gang stopped Talha and tried to snatch his mobile phone and wallet. When Talha refused to give his mobile and money, they stabbed him and fled the scene.”Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost In-Charge Bacchu Miah told the Dhaka Tribune: “Talha was declared dead when brought to the hospital around 8:15am.”
