Listed DITO CME Holdings Corp. landed itself among top gainers last week but still closed lower by double-digit week-on-week amid profit taking. The shares of DITO CME rose 88 centavos or 8.38 percent to finish at P11.38 apiece on Friday. Setting a new 30-day high of P19 prompted DITO CME to see a year-to-date gain of 74.31 percent. Diversified Securities Inc. trader Aniceto Pangan, meanwhile, attributed DITO CME’s performance to DITO Telecommunity’s technical audit and its recent commercial launch in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. He said this could include the pace of DITO Telecommunity’s network rollout and its competiveness versus the other telco giants.
