Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune, several traders said a huge number of visitors come to DITF on weekends every year, and this was no different on the first weekend of this year’s fair. Shariful Islam, proprietor of Sky Line Collection, said while the huge turnout is good, it is even better that people are buying products. Bishal Ahmed, owner of DRS Fashion, said the huge turnout had raised their hopes of having good sales this year. A total 52 outlets from 22 countries are participating in the fair, EPB sources said.
