Share TweetBy Chito ChavezThe Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has condemned the brutal murder of four police officers in Ayungon, Negros Oriental last Thursday by members of the New People’s Army (NPA). DILG Secretary Eduardo Año described the incident as “an act that only cold-blooded monsters are capable of executing”. Año vowed that “we will not rest until these murderers and enemies of peace are captured”. Assistance for the bereavedAño also assured the government has recognized the supreme sacrifices of the four police officers for the country.
