The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) is ready to supply 80MW electricity to DLF for Cyber City, subject to availability of infrastructure such as setting up of substations. Sanjiv Chopra, chief engineer, DHBVN, said, “We have told DLF to set up two substations of 66 KVA so that we can supply electricity to Cyber City. DLF Cyber City, DHBVN officials said, requires a minimum of 80 MW electricity daily to run smoothly. Cyber City has a gas plant that generates electricity but the power so generated is much more costlier than DHBVN power. We are ready to supply 15MW electricity to Cyber City as we have adequate electricity and it would not affect the supply to the rest of the city.
