Share:ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to sign the summary for the appointment of new Director General ISI today before his departure to Saudi Arabia, sources said yesterday. Later, the prime minister desired that the appointment of DG ISI should be done by adopting the procedure and he took the federal cabinet into confidence over the most sensitive appointment and sought the opinion of the cabinet members. “It will be done soon,” the federal information minister told The Nation when asked about the most awaited appointment of head of powerful intelligence service. Prime Minister Imran Khan was away from Islamabad as he spent a busy day (Friday) in Lahore and will likely to return to Islamabad early Saturday. Sources told The Nation that Prime Minister Imran Khan would leave for Riyadh on saturday on a three-day official visit, and he is expected to sign the summary for the appointment of DG ISI as the time is running out.
